First AC sleeper class of the Indian Railways are the most luxurious and expensive option of travelling. Trains with first AC coaches running on some special and collective routes. These fully AC coaches come with options of 4 or 2 berths per compartment. compartment with 4 berths is called Cabin and compartment with 2 berths are called Coupe. There are no side lower and side upper berths in 1A coaches. So, one 1A coach have 4 cabins and 4 coupes. These coaches take care of your privacy as each compartment has a door which passengers can lock from inside. The berths are wide, spacious and very comfortable. there is a small table for passengers to have their meals. 1A passengers also get special food menu. There is also shower facility in one washroom of each 1A coach (some trains like Rajdhani and Maharaja). Curtains of these coaches are fire-proof. Bedding and meals are included with the fare. But one has to pay a good amount to get this lavish treatment. Fare charges are quite high even more than air fare but it’s worth giving a try.
